    The food is authentic and tasty, and the wait wasn't too bad. Parking can be kind of tricky, so plan ahead. We ordered a little of everything to see what we would like, and none of it disappointed. I recommend the oxtail soup, and the roasted pork.

    It may look like your average restaurant , but this place is anything but! I wandered in with friends, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma. We sat down and ordered our food and the expectations continued to be exceeded. The flavors in the food had great consistency. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit. This place is perfect for groups or a casual date night.

    It's not fancy nor is the ambiance special, but Lagoon Chinese Restaurant is a bargain for your stomach and pocket book. Lagoon boast a large menu featuring Cantonese cruisine and local island favorites like chicken katsu and hamburger steak. Did I say hamburger? You must try Chef Mike's cheeseburger deluxe. It's big, it's tasty and only $3.50. Just try getting a similar burger at that price. Furthermore, Chef Mike will cook to order like a chicken katsu with double gravy over everything,...no need to drive to Rainbows for that specialty. Put simply, Lagoon Chinese Restaurant will leave you full with money left in you wallet and curious to try another item on their menu. By the way, ask for the Chef's menu. The capital pork chops are bone sucking good. Enjoy!

    I heard so many good things about this place. I finally got to eat there and the food was delicious & favorful. Fresh vegetables, cooked perfectly. Still had a "crunch." I ordered the bittermelon with shrimp. Oh, their roast pork...I was in heaven. I gotta go back for more. The staff are so nice & pleasant. The interior is clean & simple. But it's the Food! The cook(s) are the Star(s).

    Good food, local place, comfy atmosphere, big screen tv, good prices. May have to wait a min for service.
